Its a FACT: healthy teeth & gums are VERY important

Healthy teeth and gums play a very important role in orthodontics.

Seeing your dentist regularly for exams will improve your smile and positively affect your orthodontic treatment! Healthy teeth and gums move teeth into alignment faster!

We ENCOURAGE you to see your dentist twice a year, if not more!

Here are some guidelines for maintaining excellent oral hygiene while in BRACES:

  • Three times a day for brushing (Morning, Afternoon and Before bed are great times)
  • Brushing for a total of 2 or more minutes is a perfect time frame : )
  • Flossing once at night (flossing with braces can involve more time spent on the tricky areas as looping floss behind the wire can take some practice)

If you are on your way to visiting the dentist, please don’t forget about our Healthy Grins Contest!

We supply you with a postcard that can be filled out with your dentist or hygienist.

Extra points will be awarded for those with excellent oral hygiene and will be entered into our summer and winter drawing!
